Economic & Industrial Development
The Jackson Industrial Development Company (J.I.D.C.) was formed in April of 1962 for the purpose of recruiting the retaining industry in Jackson.
Since 1962, the JIDC has been involved in many projects, they include:
The first industry recruited to Jackson was: Lee-Rowen (now Rubbermaid).
