Pageants Sponsored by the Jacksonian Charter Chapter of A.B.W.A.
The Jacksonian Charter Chapter of The American Business Women's Association is proud to again sponsor "The Miss Jackson Pageants" on November 17, 2007, at the Jackson High School Auditorium. We are encouraged by the growing number of participants we have had over the past fifteen years. Pageants can be an excellent avenue of competition for young women. These young women will gain poise and confidence that will help them as they mature into the leaders of tomorrow.
The contestants are grouped according to age. For the 2:00pm afternoon pageant, ages 3-12, the contestant’s age for grouping is determined by her age as of the day of the pageant. The age groups are listed on the entry form. For the 7:30pm evening Teen and Miss Jackson Pageants, the contestants are governed by the Rules and Regulations of the Miss Missouri / Miss America Pageants. Those regulations as well as other information can be viewed on the Miss Missouri website: www.missmissouri.org. Plans are in full swing! We hope to have an even bigger and better pageant than ever before! We are also very enthusiastic about the scholarship we give to the winner of the Miss Jackson Pageant. We are working hard to increase the amount we will present to the new Miss Jackson!
