The Jackson Noon Optimist Club sponsors two scholarships to qualified seniors, as well as provides financial assistance to projects and groups such as:
We also sponsor two students to Girl's State and Boy's State each year, coordinated thru the American Legion Aux.
Our club is an active member of the Cape Girardeau Area Safe Communities Organization, and we are able to purchase our bike helmets at a reduced price thru the Safe Kids group.
Our International slogan is "FRIEND OF YOUTH" and our brand is "Bringing out the best in Kids." We make every effort to cooperate with any organization who shares these goals. Any time that we can make a positive "difference" in the life of a child, we are one step closer to that better tomorrow.
Our club members are very supportive of each other and are always willing to lend a helping hand.
